Price (SP), % difference between the LP and SP, the Days on
Market (DOM) which is the time it took for the home to sell and
the $/Sq.Ft of the home. I also calculate the averages for the
month.
HOUSING RECOVERY UNDERWAY ACCORDING TO INDUSTRY PIONEER
For the past few months, economists have been
studying facts and figures to determine when the struggling real
estate market will finally begin to recover. Based on his review
of the current market and in particular, the leads and sales
figures for his company in June, Weichert, Realtors president
and founder James M Weichert is convinced the housing sector has
entered the recovery mode.. “Each week, additional signs emerge
that point to a stronger housing market. Our recent company
performance is particularly encouraging.”
On the local Larchmont housing scene things are very positive.
While not many properties closed during the month of June the
back log of pending and conditional contracts stand at a
staggering 64. There is movement in every segment of the market
including some sales in the over 2 million range…all very good
news. There is a particular lack of inventory in the $1,000,000
to $1,400,000. This proves is a great time to sell in Larchmont.

Siwanoy Indians using the waterfront as fishing villages more
that 400 years ago and evolved as Dutch and British introduced
the European concept of land ownership to North America. This
